This is much better than the traditional e-collar. Recently he had a skin condition near his tail and by chewing on his own wound he made it worse... he has really sensitive skin so it happens a few times a year. Luckily he recovered quickly this time... it gets worse in Summer. Sizing and fit seems to be ok - he has a big head + small neck so I had to strap the Novaguard on quite tight... however it is the Novaguard itself is any smaller it will squash his head so I think Small is the right size for him... I think the Novaguard should be quite handy for doggies right after desexing surgery... "
