Sizing Guide
First select which Option is most appropriate for your dog.
Listed below are the three measuring options:
When choosing a Novaguard, please use Option 1;
When choosing an Optivizor, you will select either Option 1, 2 or 3, depending on your dogs snout length;
Although we have included a list of dogs suitable for each sizing method, this is not exhaustive, so please use common sense and remember you can contact us should you have any queries.

Option 1 - Optivizor (normal snouted dogs) or Novaguard
To determine which is the best fit product for your dog, simply follow the sizing guide below. Both sizing guides can be downloaded as a PDF if you prefer. Please follow the directions carefully and when in doubt size down

Option 2 - Optivizor (short snouted breeds)
To determine the correct size for dogs with short snouts is difficult, as the breeds in question often have such a small snout, that we can not use the same method as for normal snouted dogs.
The good news is we have a special product just for them, the 'short-snouted' Optivizor. We use the head’s circumference to help indicates the best size.
Please measure the dog’s head from the top of the head between the ears (mid point), then down and around behind the jaws and back to the mid point. Measure relatively tight around the head to avoid oversizing.

Option 2 - Optivizor (long snouted breeds)
So, you have a whippet, or greyhound or another breed with a long snout. To determine the correct size for these dogs read the same instructions as for 'normal snouted' dogs, but use the reference table shown below. We will only be looking at the dogs head measurement to determine size.
